Preform a site study in Seattle, and design a pavilion from scratch.

Summary:

This group project took the majority of the term. It involved extensive site research, creation of physical models, a 3D model, and many renderings which went through post production. I was responsible for all the 3D renderings and modelling, done in SketchUp and Vray.

Interesting Facts:

We actually traveled to the site for our research

I became proficient in Google SketchUp by the end of this project

Project:

To make a multimedia comic based off a song.

Purpose of Original Submission:

First Year University Project

Summary:

This comic was based off of "Penny Lane" by The Beatles. My comic was called "Penny for a Cause". It featured entirely my own images and artwork. the film location was in Deep Cove, Vancouver. There was a drawn photoshop version, and then a film/flash version as the final result.

Interesting Facts:

My two close friends helped me with the acting.

Summary:

This exercise was to make an interactive environment, and some game aspects were permitted to be incorporated into it. This was coded using the eclipse IDE coded in Java and made use of the processing package.

Interesting Facts:

There were a lot of scrapped ideas that weren't able to be added like a speed-run mode, and a icing design simulator, and physics for dropping tools.

Project:

Create a 3D Model of Bjarke Ingels' 8 House

Purpose of Original Submission:

Second Year University Project

Summary:

This was a group project studying the 8 House in terms of spatial design. I was in charge of the 3D model and rendering components. I used Google SketchUp and recreated popular photo angles of the building in Vray.

Interesting Facts:

We also had to make a physical 3D model of the building to appreciate the design.

Project:

Remake the 1979 classic video game 'Asteroids'

Purpose of Original Submission:

First Term University Project

Summary:

This was a faithful recreation of the original 1979 video game Asteroids completely original coding and art assets. The game had custom rendered loading screens, multiple levels and rechargeable bullets.

Interesting Facts:

I bought the Atari console and original game for inspiration.

This was the first game I created to completion.
